Sharing my experience getting a Non-O (marriage-based) visa in Vientiane, Laos
Applied: 24 Sept
Paid at the embassy: 25 Sept (went early and the queue wasnโt long at all)
Requested for more documents: 25 Sept (had to certify a true copy of my marriage certificate with the date on it)
Visa approved: 26 Sept โ
Overall, the process was really smooth and quick!

Pang Pang Pang . . keep in mind, for the application to the one-year extension of the 90-days stay permit based on marriage, on Immigration, you will need a freshly printed marriage registry printout from the Amphur, the Kor Ror 22 or 2 (whichever applies). The original "rose bordered marriage certificate" is irrelevant on immigration, because you theoretically could be long divorced and still use this old document to prove a non-existing marriage
