Hi. I am going to Laos mid July to sort an non B visa (currently here under a dependents visa). Paperwork all under control, but looking at the Thai consulate website for Vientiane it looks like there are no appointments until August? Is this right? I thought you could only book them a month in advance… any advice much appreciated… thanks!

there's openings for the end of this month and the end of next month, the rest seem to be booked up. It looks like all of August is open and can be booked

There were reports they opened up 2 months at a time a while back

If you can't pick it, it's booked up 😕

All you can do is keep checking back as sometimes people cancel a booking and it comes up again for someone to book.

I think what we're seeing is that due to the inability of anyone to really get a queue for the Savannakhet online appt system that visa run companies are booking all the Vientiane slots up 😕 Dunno really

last week I looked on two different days, one day there were no openings, but the following day appts opened up for the days that had been booked up 😮
