I just want to update you regarding the bank issue.
I flew in today and went directly to my bank SCB, they informed me that they just have to verify my phone number, and they did not ask about any Visa.
Luckily, I can still use my bank account!

Yes people are getting called in to update their mobile number and passport. Not heard of any other banks closing accounts because of tourist visas.Paul *******
