I am actually in Thailand on a 60 days (single entry) tourist Visa but wanted now to go for some days to Malaysia.. I only arrived beginning of March, so I did not even use yet 30 days of it.. Afterwards my plan was to come back to Thailand and to stay here until the end of May.
What are my options now?
Is it possible to transform my single-entry visa in a multi-entry visa?
Or should I just reenter to Thailand on the visa exemption of 30 days and then extend it on a local immigration office? Or can you only extend the official visa on which I am staying now in Thailand.
(Maybe another challenge is that I will have my flight back to Europe from Bangkok, this means I will need another two days in the month of June..)
I hope my questions are clear. Thank you in advance for your answers ๐
Have all a nice evening!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The poster is currently in Thailand on a 60-day single-entry tourist visa and plans to travel to Malaysia soon. They seek advice on whether they can convert their single-entry visa to a multi-entry visa or if they should return to Thailand on a visa exemption and extend their stay at a local immigration office. There is also a concern about needing additional days in June before departing to Europe.
Thank you Steve.. So there are normally no local Thai Immigration Offices on the border (in my case on the border to Malaysia) where I could do it just before leaving the country?
at the airport they take your passfoto, at other immigration office you might need to bring your own. I am not sure about this. Might want to post the question again with specific location of border crossing.
Carina AC i know its an easy proces at the airport when flying out, but should be possible at any immigration office. Remember, when you fly back/ come back, you get a stamp till the same date on the stamp you have in yr passport now. So day-wise, do the maths to see what makes most sense.
