Whilst in the U.K. I applied to the Thai Embassy for a multi trip visa, to be totally honest I am not 100% sure why and why I paid the £150, I have an extended holiday to visit fitness street upon arrival I showed immigration my visa which they reviewed then got my passport stamped for departure by 27th September, my multi trip visa expires Jan 2025, but come the 27th September what do I need to do to stay a little longer, thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user has a multi-trip visa that allows for multiple entries into Thailand until January 2025. They have been stamped for departure by September 27th and seek advice on how to extend their stay beyond that date. According to comments, each entry provides a 60-day tourist stamp, which can be extended for an additional 30 days, but after using the extension, they must leave Thailand to re-enter for another stamp.

You have a multiple entry tourist visa. This means every time you enter Thailand through the expiration date in January, you will receive a 60 day tourist stamp. ONCE each entry, you can apply for a 30 day extension. After that you would need to leave Thailand and return to get another 60 day stamp.

you go to immigration apply extension, then leave the country, by car or plane, come back in on another 60 days that can be extended again for 30 days. If timed correctly you can be almost 9 months on it..

you go to the Immigration Office that serves the area you're staying and apply for a 30 days extention of stay or you leave and re-enter the Country for another 60 days entry

well said correct that's one of the best and simplified explanations l have seen to that question on here. Some people just don't know and give the wrong answers, which doesn't help and only causes confusion.
