Is harder to get a multi-tourist visa if you entered Thailand before on 30 days visa exemption? I'd like to stay 8 months here. I'm wondering if I can stay 30 days, extend 30 days, then stay 30 days in Malaysia and in Kuala Lumpur ask for a multi tourist visa for Thailand. Do you see any problems

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring whether obtaining a multi-entry tourist visa for Thailand would be challenging if they had previously entered on a 30-day visa exemption and are planning to stay in Thailand for 8 months. They also consider extending their stay with a 30-day extension, leaving for Malaysia, and then applying for the multi-entry visa. Comments indicate that they cannot apply for this visa in Kuala Lumpur unless they are a Malaysian citizen or permanent resident, and it is advised to seek a longer visa prior to entering Thailand.
Well the first problem is that unless you're a citizen or permanent resident of Malaysia, you won't be applying for any multiple entry tourist visa at Kuala Lumpur.
You can only apply for a multiple entry tourist visa from a Thai embassy in the country of your passport or where you have permanent residency.
you can apply for all sorts of visas other than the ones which you can only apply for in your home country. The multi entry tourist visa falls into the latter category
