TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about the changing requirements for extending a non-immigrant O visa based on marriage at the Kanchanaburi immigration office, specifically concerning the need for multiple family photos depicting their residence. Community members shared their experiences, noting that changing photo requirements are common and emphasize specific settings and family composition.
It is not uncommon to be required to submit new pictures every year. You and your wife need to be standing in front of the address numbers for your place, be sitting inside the house at the table, or in the living room on the couch etc. It's quite a common request and has nothing at all to do with a new head of immigrations.
I am so sorry to hear that. There's no reason for immigration offices to move the bar like that as far as the requirements. The rules haven't changed in many years now.
not the best office, every year the same problem, telling my documents are not ok, and that i need the letter from bank stating i have 400,000 on account, while waving the affidavit with the monthly retirement, next they require the bank statement, showing 40,000/month coming on my thai account, every year the same, even asking why we not bring our son (4 year old, guess they would ask him to sign his birth certificate π),and so it goes on
