What should I do if my 500k baht deposit for my Non-Immigrant O visa extension hits my bank account just one day before my application deadline?

Seeking advice for extension of stay for non immigrant O visa based on expat children studying here. Clauses 2.8 and 2.9.

It’s my second extension.

Main issue is the three months deposit of 500k.

My extension expires on June 30 therefore money has to be in the account within March 30th.

I sent the transfer on March 19th but there was a mix up between my home bank and the corresponding bank here, therefore the money hit the account on March 29th. Issue is that June 29 and 30 is a week end. Therefore unless they are open on a Saturday I would have to go there on the Friday 28th that is not three month.... what will happen? Will immigration understand is there a rule? Seeking advice.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user seeks advice on extending their Non-Immigrant O visa based on their children studying in Thailand. They have faced a banking issue where their required deposit of 500,000 baht arrived late, just a day before the application deadline. Concerns arise about whether immigration will accept their application, given that the funds were not in the account for the full three months prior to applying. Responses highlight that immigration may be strict about the three-month requirement, suggest planning ahead for bank transfers to avoid such issues, and discuss the potential need to apply on the first of July if necessary.

The way the clause is written concerning supporting foreign children here is that you need the 500K baht in the bank account for 3 months prior to you applying for your extension.

They count 3 months date to date, so if the transfer hit your thai account on March 29th your 3 months is up June 29th..

I've seen the immigration office deny people their extensions for failure to have the funds seasoned the appropriate time..

All you can do is be on overstay and then go apply on the first of July..

I know Robert gots this one but a bank mess up happened to me the same way and could have messed up my extension of stay (mine falls end of month) Fortunately I have a few months lead time to still meet the requirements. I have now re-adjusted all my transfers to hit in the beginning of each month so I have plenty of time to deal with bank screw ups..

What will happen depends on the Immigration Officer. As you can apply at most Immigration Offices 30 days before the end date, I wonder why you planned it all the be done on the last day.

usually transfers take one max 2 working days not 10, so I had given myself an extra week that was what I did the first time
