TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about extending their tourist visa in Thailand after an extension due on February 9, expressing concerns about border runs being unavailable. Community responses indicate uncertainty regarding immigration policies, particularly with a COVID-19 extension potentially ending on January 29. Individuals suggest staying updated on government announcements and elaborate that only the COVID-related extension may be available, but its expiration date brings doubt.

No, the only extention would be the 'unable to travel due to covid' but that's due to finish on 29th Jan.

Bangkok Immigration posted today saying January 29th is last day, so it's not looking likely at this stage

Nobody knows for sure what the situation for immigration will be. Some people are staying you’ll be able to get the 60 day covid extension but that’s not confirmed as the official last date for those is Jan 29! But that may be extended. Keep your ears open as to what the govt announces next week.
