I am here for many years based on an actual 0 visa, getting yearly retirement extentions.
I have read recently that with a re-entry I would now need to produce proof of a "health insurance". Although I have an European health insurance, I do not necessarily want to get involved in any paperwork.
Anybody knows about "re-entry" based on "non-immi 0 extentions" ? Thank you.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user has been residing in Thailand for several years on a Non-Immigrant O visa with annual retirement extensions. They are inquiring about the current re-entry requirements, specifically related to health insurance, as recent information suggests proof of insurance may be necessary upon re-entering Thailand. A commenter clarifies that while traditionally no insurance is required for extensions, current entry regulations due to COVID-19 do mandate proof of health insurance coverage, specifically 100K USD in COVID insurance for re-entry.
