I've searched posts ref METV applications and the reason for applying to visit Thailand. My reason for applying is to visit my Thai partner. Does anyone have any experience with this reason to apply and whether they were issued the multiple or single visa and then lost the difference in money paid. The money lost wouldn't be an issue. Maybe they'll tell me to get married and apply for a different visa!

(Possible in the future but not soon!)

Thanks if anyone can shed light on this🙏🏼

The reason is tourism plain and simple. To ensure you get the METV, show travel tickets out of Thailand within the first 60 days and returning sometime after. You are under no obligation to stick to the provided itinerary.
