TLDR : Answer Summary
There appears to be no changes to the documentation required for a Non-O / Retirement 12 month extension within Thailand. Users report that the same documents required last year, such as proof of financial means and photos, are still acceptable, and no medical certificate or insurance seems to be necessary.

Rob, that's exactly what I took last month for my 3rd renewal. All good.

No medical stuff required.

There are no changes in the requirements, so I would say if that is the same as last year, you must be okay.

Thanks Robert, some friends mentioned a new health insurance policy is required, they were recently asked to provide in Samui - they are over 70 - not sure if that is a factor. Was hoping someone would know more
