Just registered my new company. Planning for work permit. Wondering about the pros and cons of a non O vs. non B. I'm not married to a Thai, but I have a son with a Thai mother. I'm the legal father and paperwork to show it. I also have plenty of money in the bank, so that's not an issue for me. Just wondering which visa would be the best to attach my WP to. TIA.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The individual has registered a new company in Thailand and is exploring options for work permits, specifically comparing Non-O and Non-B visas. Key considerations include having a Thai child, as the Non-O visa may offer advantages related to family status, while the Non-B visa pertains to business operations. Comments suggest both visas allow for initial 90-day stays extendable on application, with minimal differences in paperwork. However, the choice may depend on the age of the son and his living arrangements with the applicant.

Both visa give you 90 days of Stay at entry, after that you can apply for Extension of Stay. Little difference in paper works on application. Depended on your son is limited by younger than 20 years and living with you, based on working you can apply as long as all goes well in company. For living inside Thailand, not much different other than once a year some documents copying.
