Hi ,
Wanted to share an update and looking for suggestions.
Recently applied for 90 days reporting online but received an email that it has been rejected.
And the mail says that “ For first-time requests of a 90-day notification in each country visit, in-person presentation at the immigration office is required”.
Does that mean every time after 180 days period is over or travel outside country before 90 days , reporting has to be done face to face?
TLDR : Answer Summary
The original poster's request for a 90-day reporting was rejected, indicating that first-time requests require in-person visits at the immigration office. The conversation clarifies that after the initial 90-day notification, if an expat stays in Thailand for 180 days, they must report in person. Furthermore, re-entering Thailand after leaving resets the 90-day reporting timeline, but it's uncertain if this also resets the in-person requirement.
