I’m coming to Pattaya in August for 50 days Do I need a visa
Answer summary
Currently, you do not need a visa for a 50-day stay in Pattaya if you hold a passport from a country that is exempt from visa requirements. Most nationalities, including Australians, typically receive a stamp for 60 days upon arrival. However, there are talks about potentially reducing this visa exemption from 60 days to 30 days in the future. It's advisable to check current regulations closer to your travel date and to be prepared with necessary travel documents, including proof of accommodation and financial support.

At the moment no but things change they say soon 30 day visa
What is is your country of origin passport wise plus how do you know you allowed in country for 50 days if no visa yet. If you are from a country that is on the visa excempt list you may get a stamp at arrival from immigration for 60 days and maybe asked to show the following;
1. Passport with 6 months validity.
2. Provide verifiable proof of accmmodation.
3. Provide proof of funds to support 10.000 baht for single travelers.
4. Provide proof of return ticket for exiting Thailand.
It's a tough one just book a return in 30 days because there bringing in the 30 days visa exemption from 60 days to 30 days .I will get 60 days stamp because I'm coming next week but August it come be in by then .
Kevin O'donnell I have a good idea. If you do not have nothing nice to say flake off. There are legitimate people asking questions and may have no clue. If you have nothing to contribute then why comment?
Nick Showering if they revert to the previous 30 day visa exempt arrangement, you're able to extend another 30 days. That's how it worked in the past, assuming they don't make further changes if they do reduce it from the current 60 days.
Assuming you have an Australian passport and don't have an extensive history of spending time in Thailand you don't need a visa, you are exempt from requiring a visa for short term tourism and will be stamped in for 60 days
