TLDR : Answer Summary
The question asks whether it's permissible for a wife to transfer her money from a Kasikorn account into her husband's Bangkok bank account to meet the financial requirements for his Non-O visa application. Responses vary: some state that the funds should originate from a foreign source and mention checking with local immigration offices, while others clarify that as long as the money is in the husband's account for at least two months prior to applying, it may not matter where it comes from.

For the type O visa extension based on Thai wife it doesn't matter where the bt400k comes from. Your wife can transfer it from her account into your. The only requirement is that it is in your account for at least two months before you apply.

No. It should be from a foreign source. But i dont know if you cant transfer money to his account in his home country. he can then transfer it to his account in Thailand from that account in his home country. Just a possibility.

I think it depends on what the reason for the non-o is and what immigration office he will be using. Marriage, retirement, etc as there are different requirements for different reasons as well as between different immigration offices.

we plan for marriage because his age is less than 50 years old. Thank you.

you'll have to ask your immigration office then or update your post to let others know which one he will be using. I think others are answering assuming it was for retirement which has to be from international transfer. I Don't believe that's the case for the marriage visa at most offices.

Most Immigration Offices require the initial 800k to be from a foreign source not a domestic transfer. Ask at your local Immigration Office for their requirements.

I put 800k then I realised you are married and if you are a Thai it is 400k for this type of Non-O and not necassarily from a foreign source, again ask for local requirements
