TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around the 90-day reporting process required for expats in Thailand with 800,000 THB in their bank account. Several users share their experiences at Jomtien Immigration, noting that the process can be quick if all forms and documentation are prepared correctly. There are variations in experiences at different immigration offices, with some mentioning longer wait times for different services. Key documentation required typically includes a photocopy of the updated bank book, and there are differing opinions on whether a bank statement is necessary. Overall, clarity on requirements and experiences helps inform others on the process.
I just think you should clarify. Two people have said that they were in and out of Jomtien Immigration quickly for their 90 day reports but it is important to mention that if you go to Jomtien for any other reason be prepared for a long wait. There were hundreds of people queueing outside in the heat today. The wait for a covid extension was 5 hours.

This hasn’t been my experience at Bangkok immigration. They’ve never asked for an updated bank book at 90 day check ins. I understand different offices have different requirements.
I’m on an O visa now and Bkk immigration has never asked for this. Different immigration offices DO handle things differently and I’m just posting what’s been my experience in bkk to be helpful.

Did they ask for bank letter or just updated bank book ? . I'm due on the 23rd
Last week I went to the kbank, use the atm machine for deposit ,100 baht AND take the bank book to another machine for UPDATE the bank book. Copied the new updated bank book And first page too.
fine if that’s what they accept. All I’m saying is that sometimes when a bank book is updated it doesn’t always update every transaction ( especially if it hasn’t been updated regularly).
no need to be confused if you do your one year extension of stay in Jomtien and use the 800 K methode they want you come back after 3 months to show your money is still 800 K unused
