TLDR : Answer Summary
Starting November 15, 2021, Cambodia will end quarantine for vaccinated travelers, allowing for a more accessible entry process into the country. This significant change means that vaccinated individuals no longer require a deposit upon entering. Travelers will need to present a negative COVID-19 test obtained within 72 hours prior to travel, and proof of vaccination to bypass quarantine. However, travelers are advised to check for specific visa requirements and possible financial deposits as the situation can vary by arrival specifics. This update is seen as a step toward reviving tourism as Cambodia aims to reopen to international visitors.

I wonder if the thai Cambodia land border will open up soon. Do you still have to put up a large cash deposit?

Does anyone know if it would be possible to go USA -> Thailand -> Cambodia -> USA in one trip ?

USA is list of safe countries for Thailand, so if you vaccinated you can enter Thailand on the Test&Go system.

From Thailand, soon will be direct flights to Cambodia offered again.

And Cambodia ended quarantine for anyone coming from Thailand on November 1!

Amazing comments from people on here.It is quite obvious that Cambodia is and will be attempting to OPEN UP to fully vaccinated tourists and get back to a semblance of normality. If you dont like Cambodia then dont f...cking come here. The government of Cambodia has offered free vaccination to all people in their country as opposed to trying to control their foreign citizens thru geo political vaccinations.I for one am very grateful for being in Cambodia. Not once has this government forced the overseas citizens to jump thru bullshit in order to stay here or put them on a month by month basis of ending visa exemptions as the world deals with the changing face of Covid or scammed them on departure as other Unnamed Asian countries have done.I for one respect the Cambodian government for their help and assistance

The general consensus.Thailand is the preferred option for medical procedures. As for covid related problems both countries would be similar depending on the amount of cases and availability of oxygen supplies

Cambodia’s government has announced to reopen the country in several stages to fully vaccinated tourists from November 30, 2021. This will allow double-jabbed visitors to skip quarantine if they stay for at least five days in designated areas. The first such areas are two seaside provinces, Sihanoukville and Koh Kong. On arrival, visitors must show proof they have been vaccinated and take a rapid results test

All travellers will be medically screened and tested on arrival, then required to quarantine for 14 days at a facility designated by the Cambodian government. All travellers are required to take a PCR test on the 13th day of quarantine at either the Khmer-Soviet Friendship Hospital in Phnom Penh or the Chak Angre Clinic in Phnom Penh. Costs must be covered by the traveller.

Currently, all foreign passengers need to deposit USD $2000 as a medical service charge upon their arrival. This deposit will be deducted in the case of medical needs. Any unused funds will be returned. However, as the country begins to allow vaccinated tourists via a phased reopening, it is likely this requirement will be redacted.

Travellers must also have proof of insurance that includes a minimum of USD $50,000 for medical cover. Insurance covering 20 days can be purchased on-arrival at Phnom Penh Airport for USD$90.

Cambodia has re-introduced e-visas for entry, but the tourist on arrival visa is still suspended at time of publishing. For additional details, as well as any exemptions to these restrictions, view the government source ( Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs )

NEGATIVE COVID RESULT

All travellers to Cambodia must get a medical certificate no longer than 72 hours before the date of travel from a health authority stating they are Covid negative. This certificate should bear the stamp of the facility issuing it and be signed by a qualified medical practitioner to certify the result.

You are wrong. The viral load is identical in both groups. Besides, everyone is going to get Covid. You can't use a leaky vaccine to get rid of an airborne respiratory virus in the middle of a pandemic. It's funny how people think you can when not even the manufacturers are claiming that to be the case. You've been grossly misinformed.

the problem is that most flights aren’t direct to Cambodia and stop in Thailand / maladysia Singapore . Thailand is so paranoid and scared of the virus that it insists on 2 PcR tests and an ATK test after day 7 even for vaccine 💉 peopel

basically I have been on a non b visa the past 6 years but closed by hostel business lastt year so Im om COVID extensions at the moment. In April I put the 400k in my account here for two months then went to immigration here in Sa keao to apply for the non O visa but they told me that I'm still classed as being on the non B and that I will have to go out and come back in to Thailand so close that loop and then I'll be able to get onto the non O
