I’m flying tomorrow from the UK to arrive in Bangkok on May the 1st. I have just been informed by the HR department of the company I will be joining that the Thai government will most likely be making the quarantine period 14 days again without a vaccination certificate.

Has anyone heard anything about this?

TLDR : Answer Summary
Travelers arriving in Thailand on May 1st may face a 14-day quarantine if their Certificate of Entry is issued on or after May 1. Those with a CoE issued prior to this date may qualify for a 7-10 day quarantine, depending on their vaccination status. This information was confirmed during the latest CCSA meeting.

Up until May 6 arrival in Thailand you can do 7-10 day quarantine based on vaccination status if your Certificate of Entry (CoE) was issued prior to May 1. Anyone with a CoE issued May 1 or after will be doing 14-day quarantine. This is the announcement made after the CCSA meeting on Thursday:
