A friend of mine has arrived in Pattaya and tested positive on day one.

He has been instructed to stay 10 days in quarantine.

My question is is there a private nurse or clinic that will come to his hotel and do a second RT PCR test at his cost?

He can ask for another test at his cost . Whether he will be allowed one is another matter. Has he had Covid before in the last 3 months?

 yes I tested positive January 12th on way back from Cuba. Test neg march 8 in Canada and + march 12 in pattaya.

 have you got Covid recovery certificate? If so, show them that. Then maybe no need to quarantine. Also this page has info about what to do or you can ask them.
