So am I reading this right. They changed things to that you need to get ASQ AFTER you get the COE? I mean, that's what it says but has anyone done this successfully?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The current process states that you need to secure an Alternative State Quarantine (ASQ) after obtaining a Certificate of Entry (COE) to enter Thailand. While this has been confirmed as part of a two-stage process for the COE, some users expressed frustration and uncertainty about these requirements, particularly regarding visa exemptions and their extensions. It has been clarified that visa-exempt entries can still be extended for an additional 30 days at a local immigration office.
thank you... And as we know the visa exempt entry can be extended one time for 30 days...
This is typical of the Thai Foreign Ministry and its Thai Embassy's giving out advice not aligned with that of Thai Immigration in Thailand. Bottom line... You can get a one time 30 days extension for 1,900 Thai baht at local Thai immigration office.
these are changing times with COVID and as we move post COVID we may see the continuance of current CoE requirements to enter Thailand. Pre-screening applicant's with online evisa approved.

I don't understand, it says Visa Exemption cannot be extended, but I thought you could for 30 days...
