For any travellers from The Netherlands: the hopeful news is: I applied for COE phase 1 on last Saturday, and received confirmation within 24 hours, on Sunday! I had uploaded a copy of my passport, bank statement and ownership document of my condo. Easy peasy.
However, this (Monday) morning I called the Thai Embassy in The Hague, and actually got somebody on the phone :), and I was informed that they had NOT been given the confirmation yet about the reduced ASQ period to 11 days/night starting April 1. Once confirmed, it will be posted on the Embassy website.
I was also told that once this has been confirmed, a Fit-to-Fly declaration will no longer be needed while preparing all your documentation for travel.
TLDR : Answer Summary
A traveler from The Netherlands shared their positive experience in obtaining the Certificate of Entry (COE) for Thailand, receiving confirmation within 24 hours after submitting necessary documents. They called the Thai Embassy in The Hague to inquire about the reduced ASQ period, which is expected to be officially confirmed starting April 1, but hasn't yet been published. It was mentioned that once confirmed, the Fit-to-Fly declaration requirement may be lifted. However, other users raised concerns about the official status of these changes, suggesting they have yet to be formalized.
