Hi, I am wondering about the process of canceling a non-ED visa and the consequences of not canceling before the extension deadline. I want to cancel my ED visa in order to be on visa amnesty, but I missed my visa extension date, which was 3rd July.
What could be the consequences of waiting a few days for the government announcement so that I presumably would only have to make one trip to immigration?
Thanks

What does "You miss your visa extension date" mean? Were you on an extension of stay based on being a student ("the stamp"), OR were you on an original visa ("the sticker")?
