Hi, I will be mailing my 90 days report via registered mail for the first time. I usually do it online or in person.
What is the process for mailing? Do I provide the original 90 days receipt in the mail as well?
Thank you in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
To mail your 90-day report in Thailand, you need to send it via registered mail, postmarked 14 days before the due date. Include the filled-out TM47 form, the previous 90-day report receipt, copies of the data page of your passport, your visa or extension, the most recent entry stamp, the TM6 departure card, and the TM30 receipt. Additionally, include a self-addressed stamped envelope for your receipt to be mailed back to you. Mail your documents to the specified immigration office address in Bangkok.
To do a 90 day report by mail in Bangkok you need to postmark the envelope 14 days before the due date, and include a stamped self addressed envelope to get the receipt mailed back
90 days notification is different than TM.30. 90 days is to be done on TM.47 form. TM.30 is only when you change address and you must do it within 24 hours after such event.
yeah so I have already files TM30 and I haven't changed my address, so I was wondering if the TM 30 also needs to be filed every 90days, regardless of any address changes

With first extension you should get information to do 90 days notification. You count it since the date on the stamp (this date is the first day). First one must be done in person. The notification period window is from 15 days before due date, till 7 days after due date.
And after first notification you will get an information about the next one, then you can do by registered mail or online (website/application). If you leave country, counter resets to 0 since the day you get back. If you do another extension of stay, counter DO NOT resets, still the date from previous notification of stay is in order.
Last time I sent it 13 days before the due date and got it back after one month with annotation "Next time, please send 15 days before the due date".
Remember to include envelope with your address and 10 THB stamp glued to it.
I didn't send TM.30 receipt, and they didn't mention anything about it (however, they might want it if you changed the address since last 90 days notification). Also, they returned all photocopies of passport and TM.6 card.
people are saying it's taking up to 6 weeks to get the receipt back, as Bobby said, send it EMS tracked mail so you can prove it was delivered on xxx date just in case you don't get the receipt back before your next 90 day report is due

Madelaine Pante Babia. That's the $64,000 question. I've had it back within about ten days, other times 3-4 weeks. It all depends on their workload and how many public holidays there are at that time! ๐คฃ
