Why was my 90-day immigration report in Thailand rejected after submitting it online early?

I have a Non O Multiple Entry. I entered Thailand on 5 May. My 90 day report was due 2 August. I did the online report on 27 July (7 days early). Today I received this email advising me that my report has been rejected as submitted "more than 10-15 days in advance" I understood you can submit up to 15 days early. I'm also confused by the resubmission date they advise 07/09/2023. Just did the report in person at Chamchuri Square. Officer said an immigration officer had put my entry date as 10 June. That's why the rejection advised me to resubmit on 7 September.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A visa holder with a Non O Multiple Entry visa submitted a 90-day report online 7 days early, but it was rejected because the report was deemed submitted more than 10-15 days in advance. The confusion arose from an incorrect entry date set by an immigration officer. After seeking clarification, the user was advised to reapply in person. Additional comments discussed the nuances of 90-day reporting requirements for different visa types and experiences of others regarding their reporting and extension statuses.

Tried a second time. This time on 3 August, one day after the deadline of 2 August. Today received another rejection email. Same wording as the one I received on 3 August. I plan to go to immigration tomorrow. Can I go to any office? My extension was issued by the BOI One Stop Shop.

as Tod already replied. You need to use your local office with your TM30. You cannot use "any" office. If it doesn't work, I guess you need to contact Cham Churi. (Actually, that is what I'm not really sure about an extension with BOI companies. BOI people who got their extension from Cham Churi usually keep reporting there - a far as I know before. I would appreciate it if you'd report back)

In Thailand the resubmission date of
***
/2023 is September 7, 2023.

@Ellie ******
I would just follow their confusing instructions. Go in person and bring a copy of the email but that's just me.

@John *********
yes, that too, although irrelevant in this discussion. πŸ€”

@Guido *********
, it's not about how to read the date. It's about when true 90th day is

Quick question: don't you need to leave the country every 90 days on a multi-entry visa?
Ellie *******
@River *******
there is no "exit visa". It's a re-entry permit. And this is why wer always tell members to understand what you are on and use correct terminology (at least in this group)
River ********
So from responses here, it looks like some of you are referring to regular one year extensions, that you use exit visas to allow you to go out and come back, as multiple entry just because you are allowed out and in.
Ellie *******
@River *******
, If you have an actual multiple-entry Non-immigrant visa that is issued by the Thai embassy/consulate without a suffix A, you must leave Thailand every 90 days. On the other hand, those who have an extension for 1 year or more like OP don't have to leave every 90 days but need to do 90 days report. Please make your own post to go further.

@River *******
depends on the exact visa type. In some cases a multiple entry visa is just for exiting and entering, in other cases you must leave by 90 days, in other cases it's just a reentry permit attached to a current permission to stay stamp.

@River *******
no. I am on an O-A 1 year multi entry visa, and I did my first 90 day 2 weeks ago at my local immigration office.

@River *******
yes your right that's what i had to do, immigration told me that you only have to do 90 day reporting on a single entry visa, each province seems to have different rules but here in Rayong that's what immigration told me.
Wannikea *********
May I ask why they got 2 years on the extension? From March 2022 till Feb 2024 on a Non O.

I see, thank you

@Wannikea ********
BOI company, you can see that they used the Cham Churi One Stop Service Center, <- It's on the re-entry permit
Tod *********
Good News is it looks like your extension is from Cham Churi Square's One Stop Service Center (or at least the re-entry permit is) so IF you have to do a 90 day report and your extension was issued there you can go there to file it

Thank you. I now live in Nakhon Nayok. Can I go to my local immigration office? But I'm guessing they will need more documents and form filling than Cham Churi Square as I have never been there
Tod *********
@Peter *******
IF you or your land lord filed a TM30 <- notification of foreigner in residence, and if required you filed the TM28 change of address form with the Nakhon Nayok immigration office you could indeed use that office for 90 day reporting. πŸ™‚

In my experience the first 90 days report after you entered the country or changed your address needs to be done in person at the immigration office, the online system will reject it

I used to think that Claude , but I’d been away for a few weeks , came back to Thailand and my online went through without a problem .maybe that glitch in the system has been ironed out now .
Tod *********
@Claude *********
hmm, that could be it but there are reports from too many people who have entered the country and started right back up with 90 day online no issues πŸ˜•

indeed , i did our first 90 days report online ( me and my sons ) and it was approved

probably at the same address as when they left

I have to do one for my wife end of the month, hope you’re right πŸ™‚

quite strange indeed.

You last entered the country on May 5th 2023, and if we add 89 days to that you're correct your 90 day report would be due on Aug 2nd.

Applying on the 27th of July was well within the 2 weeks before down until the due date "window" for online reporting.

I'd apply again and see if it goes thru making sure you put the May 5th as the date you arrived in thailand

I think they rejected it by mistake

Ok thanks. Will try again
Tod *********
@Peter *******
i mean that's all you can really due although NOW because it's after the actual due date they might reject it as too late

Worst case you have until the 9th to go file in person (7 days after the actual due date)
