What are the chances of my visa being denied after a previous overstay in Thailand, and what type of visa should I apply for a 7-week trip from the UK?

I am looking to book another trip to Thailand for around a seven week stay. However, I was there a few months ago and overstayed by 12 days. I paid the fee at immigration. What's the chances of my Visa being denied? Also, what type of Visa do you apply for for a seven week trip and where do you do this? Coming from the uk 🇬🇧!
Answer summary
If you have overstayed your visa by 12 days in Thailand but paid the fine at immigration, your chances of being denied a visa on your next trip are generally low. For a seven-week stay, consider applying for a 60-day tourist visa rather than relying solely on the 30-day visa exemption. You can apply for a single entry tourist visa through the Thai consulate in London, and it's advisable to bring your overstay fine receipt as a precaution.

you should be okay 👍. Be sure you have a flight ✈️ departing Thailand within 89 days as you would get 60 days on arrival with a SETV Single Entry tourist visa... Plus ADDED 30 days extension. The day that you arrive counts as Day #1.

Obtain the SETV Single Entry tourist visa before you fly to Thailand.

Have the address of your initial week where you are going to stay... and 20,000 Thai baht or equal foreign currency 💲 to show if you are asked to by Thai Immigration officers.

You should be okay. A 12-day overstay that was paid at immigration when you left doesn't automatically mean you'll be refused entry next time.

For a 7-week holiday, I'd look into a 60-day tourist visa rather than relying on the 30-day visa exemption.

Just keep your overstay fine receipt with you in case they ask about it. 👍

you are unlikely to have any issue buying a visa thru a thai consulate with a 12 day overstay as long as you meet the requirements.

You can apply for a single entry tourist visa via the online web-portal thru the thai consulate in London.
