Don’t mind where to stay, Hanoi or HCM.
Flights to Da Nang are a bit cheaper, but I heard Hanoi Consulate process the applications a bit faster.
Anyone has any experience to share?

I believe technically you're supposed to apply in HCMC if you're in Denang. They will want your address in Vietnam so best to check on the embassy website and apply in the correct embassy for where your hotel address will be.

- Every province is assigned to one of the two consulates. I believe DaNang is assigned to HCMC.Dennis *********

hmm I email d HCMC last year and they said I could apply in either Hanoi or hcmcBut if you come to da Nang do hcmc to keep it simple
