May I know is there anyone who apply DTV visa from Hanoi, Vietnam? How’s their service there ? I saw bad reviews in Google and I’m scared to apply 😭 what if they reject for no reason? 😭

Another question: I’m about to apply in Next Wednesday. Do you think I will get the visa in Friday since visa working day is 1-3 days?

I recieved dtv in Hanoi last week. They were really fastidious. Need accommodation print out for Vietnam, accommodation print out for Thailand, 6 month bank statements with monies in the account for that time, work contract/or letter from employer notarised, asked for pay slips however could show them the income into the account on 6 month statements. $340 US dollars for application also.

Best of luck to you!!

You can book an appointment online, but they didnt seem too worried about that..also print shop around the corner in case they want any additional info. Lodged Monday and collected the Friday (but was ready on the Thursday).

hi. If you don’t mind. As you mentioned your work contract/ letter from employer motorized. - did you need to get this motorized by your home country’s embassy in the country that you’re currently living in now?

I had the work documents notarised in the country Im living in. I read someone had been advised by Hanoi Embassy that this wqs a requirement, so I did the same.

may I know what is the accommodation print out in Thailand? Is the Hotel booking of 1 month enough? Because I didn’t rent a condo yet since I’m just processing visa and it’s not so sure yet. That’s why.

For the pay slips, what if the company pay me in Cash for my salary?

Anonymous participant Yes I'd say the accomodation print out for Thailand would work. I'd have your employer say you work remotely and pay you in cash in the letter. Hope that helps.

I got my OA there this year and the staff were fine. Few issues on my side, so I had to go a few times, but they spoke English well. This review just seems like one person’s experience as met a handful of others there who didn’t have these kind of issues.

Also, it was rarely busy so never had to wait, even though I had to book an appointment. They just said turn up whenever.

The staff is just the person who receives the documents, and the person who approves them is Thai. You just need to prepare all the documents. My friend and I both received the visa after 3 working days.

Người tham gia ẩn danh If you submit on Wednesday morning, you will receive an email on Friday evening. However, the embassy is closed at that time. You need to wait until Monday to receive your visa. In my opinion, try to submit your application on Tuesday so you don't have to wait on the weekend.

thank you.I could have known it earlier but not I already booked my Tuesday flight. I will arrive around 4:30 pm and the embassy is already close at that time. It’s okay I will go around.

By the way, may I know that can I go and visit to Sapa with my driving license while waiting for passport?
Vu ************
Người tham gia ẩn danh You can send your passport photo to the booking agent and give them the appointment letter from the embassy so you can go to Sapa without a passport.

it’s really helpful to me since I’m traveling alone. Thank you so much dear

Người tham gia ẩn danh Please emphasize to the booking agent that you cannot bring your passports as the embassy is holding them. My friends come to HaNoi apply for visas a lot and they all travel while waiting for their visas.

Have a nice trip in Việt Nam.
