TLDR : Answer Summary
To extend your marriage visa in Thailand, you need a bank letter that serves as proof of funds. This letter is typically referred to as a 'Banking Reference Letter' or 'Guarantee Letter' for immigration purposes. It confirms your status as the account holder, your account number, and your current balance. You can request this letter at your bank, and they should be familiar with what is required. Remember that the letter is only valid for 7 days, so plan accordingly.

I normally just ask for a letter for immigration. In my bank the staff call it a guarantee letter

Banking reference letter (for immigration) for your visa extension. It just confirms your the account holder, your account number, your balance, that type of thing, most banks are aware of the form. You should also need a 12 month statement.

An extension based on marriage does not need a 12 moonth history of funds, just 3 months to show the 400k has seasoned for 2 months prior to the application
