Anyone have experience doing a visa run to Singapore recently?
Essentially, a friend went from Non-b to Covid extension, got the 7 day stamp and will now have to do a visa run.
The thinking is for him to go to Singapore and apply for non B work visa (already in process), and then come back here as soon as possible, applying for the Thailand pass et all.
Anyone here have experience with this process, in Singapore or elsewhere, and know how long this process may take in Singapore, combined with thai pass everything.
and/or are there any problems coming back to Thailand so soon, visa-run style.
Thanks in advance
TLDR : Answer Summary
A user seeks advice on doing a visa run to Singapore after switching to a Covid extension with a 7-day entry stamp. They want to know about applying for a Non-B work visa in Singapore and the likelihood of issues re-entering Thailand shortly after. A commenter notes that obtaining a Non-B visa in Singapore can be complicated without a long-term visa there.
