Hi, I have a specific situation here so would like some advice -

I am currently on a non-B visa which is valid till June 2021. However on this visa type I technically need to leave the country every 90 days and fly back in.

Went into the muang thong Thani setup with a letter from my embassy asking for either a 90 day exemption stamp or an extension to whatever they may give. Was sent back saying we are not sure what we can do.

Since my visa is not expiring, and the thai immigration won't give me the 90 day exemption stamp UNTIL there's more news, I'm not sure what I should do? I have a letter from the embassy that states my residence proof, passport details and visa details, any proficient advice would be much appreciated!

TIA

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice regarding their Non-B visa, which is valid until June 2021, while facing challenges in obtaining a 90-day exemption stamp from Thai immigration. Despite having a letter from their embassy confirming their residency, they were informed that immigration could not assist them until further notice. A comment indicates that the only visa extension available for this category is a one-year extension based on employment, which is not handled at Muang Thong Thani.

There is only 1 type of Extension of Stay available on this type of visa and that is the 1 year Extension of Stay based on employment and you do not get that in Muang Thong Thani office.

Correct, but I don't need an extension on the visa, per say - just the 90 day leaving issue? Any opinions on this? Sorry I just wanted to cover all bases, we can close this thread if thats all there is to it! Appreciate the response nonetheless

There are no other options, you visit Thailand to do business and you go back to work as that is the usage of the visa,

I see Robert, thanks. I understand this extension is at the M counter at chaeng wattana? If so, they turned me away saying they don't know what they could do for me, but to wait for more instructions from the higher authorities. Is there not a "check-in" of sorts i can do? I am fine to leave for India, but would rather not get into a repatriation flight that then leads me into a 14 day quarantine, specially in Mumbai which is quite bad currently. My company in India would rather have me do my usual biz development here since not much is working there

That means you have the Non Immigrant B visa for business and not the Non Immigrant B visa to work inside Thailand. Sorry, this type of visa is only used during short time visits and can not be extended in Thailand.
