Hi all. My husband and I are planning to apply for a DTV from the UK.
We have a company in thailand which allowed us to purchase a small villa.
Would it help to mention this or better to leave it.
My husband will work off shore periodically and we have the money to cover the thai government requirements for the DTV.
Many thanks for any insight

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around a couple's intention to apply for a Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) in Thailand while owning a company and a property there. Key points include the importance of not mentioning the Thai company in the visa application, as DTV is for remote workers of non-Thai companies. It was suggested that the husband should not apply based on his offshore job, but rather the wife could apply based on a lifestyle claim while the husband could apply as her spouse. Guidance was also provided on consulting official visa resources and avoiding confusion regarding DTV eligibility.
Thank you all so much for information. We will not mention the company/property.
My husband will be working off shore 3 months of the year with his current employer of which we have a certificate of employment.
I do hope this is ok as alternatively ill do muay thai !!
Again any insight as to this means of gaining DTV is welcome. TIA

Anonymous participant the DTV is to allow remote working from inside Thailand not for people who travel outside of Thailand for work. I doubt very much he would get a DTV with his work. It would be better for you to get the DTV based on soft power and for him to then get one based on being your spouse
Having a Thai company to buy a house or condo in Thailand will not get you a DTV Visa.

The DTV is for remote workers of non-Thai companies so extremely likely you would be denied a DTV mentioning your Thai company and any work you do for it.
