TLDR : Answer Summary
The user, a Forex trader residing in Thailand on a visa on entry, is inquiring about eligibility for a Dtv visa. Insights from comments suggest considering running a UK LTD company for tax benefits, and emphasize checking the Thai Embassy's visa section for accurate information. There are also recommendations for reaching out to lawyers and checking forums for similar applicants' experiences.

in the threads you should find posts by similar applicants. I have read about a couple of approvals via the embassy in London. They highlighted how they manage their portfolio online. Other embassies though may view your application differently so sending an email first would be wise.

If you’re worried, just sign up to Muay Thai or cooking classes

yeah Muay Thai looks like the best bet! But Ill need to find a good spot somewhere up north of Thailand good price and see what that will total up, but I just rather be honest and go through the right way but yes I know it might bite me the butt and make things worse

Yeah so what you do is is open a UK LTD company and run your broker acc through it.

CashPlus now known as Zempler works fine with brokers assuming you're using IBKR or similar.

Then profits can go from Zempler > Wise > BKK bank easily.

You need folk who specialize in trading TAX laws rather than a generic accountant for your yearly books.

You can write most off if you're smart otherwise you get whacked even on unrealized gains.

Welcome. It's straight forward once you know.

Tax man just doesn't like to inform you since the system is built for them and not us lol
