Should I delay my trip to Thailand if I haven't received my TR60 visa yet?

I applied for my TR60 visa 5 days ago and haven't heard back. Originally I wanted to depart on Nov 19 but I'm not sure if I have enough time. So I haven't applied for Thailand Pass or paid my hotel for airport transit/covid testing yet because I'm not sure I can get everything done in time yet. Should I delay my trip (even though my TR application said I'll leave Nov 19)... or maybe just get started on the Thailand pass now?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is concerned about not having received a response for their TR60 visa application submitted five days ago, with a planned departure on November 19. Given the uncertainty, they are contemplating whether to proceed with the Thailand Pass and travel arrangements. Comments from other users highlight ongoing issues with the evisa system, suggestions to contact the consulate for updates, and reassurance that the visa will be valid for 90 days from the issue date, allowing flexibility in travel dates.

The visa is valid for 90 days from it's issue date so you could change your travel dates and the visa will still be valid.

Dates won't be a problem. The visa will be valid for entry for 90 days from day of issue. The date of departure you've told them will have no bearing on it

We submitted our visa on Nov 6 and today I called the consulate (Vancouver) just asking if they need anything, if anything is missing etc. He said to send an email and after 15 minutes we had our visas.

Might be worth giving your consulate a call - you just never know 😊

There’s an issue with the evisa system currently. No idea when they may fix it (it might be already fixed). You may have to wait a day or so to see what transpires.

i would call your embassy, if you don’t have it sorted in a couple days then I would make a decision

Also if your coming through with a vaccine cert with a QR code you’ll likely have a better time getting your Thai Pass
