I wanted to know if it is possible to have/apply twice to a single entry tourist visa for Thailand to re enter Thailand 10 days after the first departure?
I know re entry permit exists but it is to be done in an immigration office. I'll arrive to thailand the first time only for 2 days during the weekend ( so the immigration offices will be closed), so I wont have the possibility to ask for the re entry permit.
I was then wondering of I can apply twice to a single entry permit to enter 2 times to Thailand?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquires whether they can apply for a single entry tourist visa to Thailand twice, aiming to re-enter just 10 days after their first departure. Given that their initial stay is only 2 days, they are concerned about not being able to obtain a re-entry permit during that time due to immigration office closures. Commenters clarify that while they can get a single entry visa twice, it must be done at a Thai embassy or consulate outside Thailand. They also mention that for some cases, re-entry permits can be obtained at the airport.
Not quite sure what you’re asking here. It is possible to have two tourist visas issued one after the other, but you’d need to do that at an embassy/ consulate outside of Thailand. A number of consulates will sell a multiple entry tourist visa which is valid for 6 months and on each entry you get stamped for 60 days.
The answer to that is yes. Many long term visas are single entry 90 day stamps. You could get a reentry permit for one of those. I just don’t know what the case is off a tourist visa. Perhaps you can.
