Applied for my last visa and it took 4 weeks and was emailed to me 2 days before i was due to go from the UK to BKK

This time I thought I would get in early

Booked flight to BKK for 29th November for 71 days. Filled in and emailed tourist visa application to thai embassy London on the 27th August the applicayion form asked proof of flight and date etc as usual. And YES they passed, completed and returned within 2 days. So the visa I have got is valid for use 3 months from issue as usual. It runs out 2 days before I am due to go.

If I apply for another tourist visa from thai embassy London this week will they question why?.

Thanks

Andy

Pay for a new visa if questioned explain why or just change your flight

There’s a good chance they will flat out reject the application as you can’t apply for a visa whilst having a “valid” visa.

I’d email them there’s a chance maybe they can cancel your current visa and you can reapply that way maybe, however you will have to pay and go through the process again.

Unfortunately it’s your responsibility to make sure you fly within the 3 months of validity sending them an itinerary would not change dates or post date an application.

Basically, you cannot apply for a visa while you still have a valid visa.

Most likely your application will be declined or rejected.

Sadly, It's up to you if you want to try again and see. Or contact the visa section of the Thai embassy in London.

SETV is always valid for 3 months from the issued date regardless of the itinerary you submitted.
