Can I do a visa run to Penang for a single tourist visa if I'm from South Africa?

, what was strange is they put that announcement out in April this year BUT only started enforcing it about S/A passport holders at the beginning of October. :O

There still IS a way for S/A passport holders to get visas from K/L (and Penang I believe) BUT it takes 4 weeks.

You apply, the paperwork is sent somewhere to get approved and then they email you and say when you can come get the visa.

they came out at the beginning of the month with an updated list that has South Africa on it stating the CANNOT get a visa from the consulate in Penang.
