TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation explores the current situation regarding Non Immigrant ED visas for entry into Thailand. Users highlight that the eligibility to enter Thailand with an ED visa primarily depends on the specific circumstances of the student, such as enrollment status at a university. While some mention that international students may be allowed entry, others note that it varies by university and there are still restrictions in place. It's advised to check with the Thai Embassy for the most accurate and current information.
yes. I have a friend at my Uni who’s just entered Thailand and is currently in ASQ in Bangkok. I also said ‘possible’ as it’s a lottery for ALL those that are potentially eligible. Be careful before you give people inaccurate advice. Additionally, I’m referring to a ‘proper’ university - not an online one. 👍
I would say, it depends on which uni. I've friends who enrolled in public unis and are very mad that they can't get in even though they've applied since a year.
