Is my non-B visa invalid and does my 30-day stamp act as a tourist visa?

I’d just like to thank Tod Daniels for his excellent and on point free advice. I pay a business advisor and they had zero advice lol. Anyhow got a letter from British embassy the following morning after I emailed them. They were helpful in asking not for an extension to my non B but asked this. ... The British Embassy would therefore be grateful if the Kingdom of Thailand Immigration Bureau would consider facilitating their application for a non-immigrant visa in accordance with the Kingdom of Thailand Immigration Bureau’s requirements.

However my bad. I didn’t get it translated into Thai as they’ve given me the standard under consideration stamp and I return on 11 oct.

So in essence then from my understanding is that my non B is now invalid and the 30 day stamp is the equivalent to a tourist visa. Is that right.

I got same as you, same letter. They understand the letter in English. It is a great help. I am to go back on the 15th, but I will try sooner, as I need to change to a non-imm if possible. If I wait till 15th it is too late, as the stamp will be till the 26th Oct.

You didn't need to get it translated into thai. AND if you were on a non-B 90 day entry stamp it expired months ago meaning you were here on amnesty anyway.

Everyone gets the "under consideration" stamps from the embassy request letter and then goes back on that date to get the 'extension of stay' stamp.
