Is leaving Thailand on the visa expiration date considered an overstay?

Jan 14, 2026
My Thailand entry stamp shows that my visa is valid until 11 April 2026, and that the 90-day reporting must be completed by 11 April 2026 if I continue staying in Thailand. Would it be considered an overstay if I leave Thailand on 11 April 2026? Thank you in advance!

TLDR : Answer Summary
You can leave Thailand on the expiration date of your visa (11 April 2026) without incurring an overstay. However, ensure you complete the 90-day reporting before that date for compliance. Reporting must be done 15 days before or within 7 days after the due date to avoid penalties.

You must report 15 days before or by 7 days after the date. Penalities will be imposed for late reporting (self) and higher penalities (if caught and questioned). Timely reporting is better for clean immigration record.
