TLDR : Answer Summary
The original poster inquires about the possibility of obtaining a double-entry visa for Thailand while currently abroad, specifically after traveling from Thailand to Malaysia. Commenters clarify that there are no longer double-entry tourist visas available; only single-entry and multiple-entry tourist visas exist. They suggest that the best option for the poster is to apply for a single-entry tourist visa at a Thai consulate in Malaysia, which can be extended once in Thailand. The discussion also touches upon requirements and options for individuals under specific age restrictions.

OKay this is getting ridiculous. You can go to a thai consulate in Malaysia and get a single entry tourist visa for thailand. That will stamp you in for 60 days when you enter the country and you can extend that for 30 more days at the immigration office for 1900baht.

Check the website of the thai consulate you are going to go to so you can see what they require as far as documentation to get the tourist visa.

You will need to get a tourist visa, extend it for 30 days and then go get another tourist visa to stay until August.

It is not advice , it is what I would do . I think your options are limited though .

There is a Single and a Multiple . The Multiple you can only get in your home country , there is no such thing as a Double .

, you need to be 50 or older for retirement .

Without knowing your departure date it is slightly difficult to work out a plan of action for you .

However this is what I would do .

Get a SETV ,this is good for 60 days , you then need to go to your local immigration office for a 30 day extension .

Before this expires you will need to leave Thailand again and get another SETV , you will probably need to get another extension after that as well .

If you need more time you will need to come back here for more advice .

there are no double entry tourist visas to thailand anymore. There are single entry tourist visas and a 6 month METV <- multi-entry tourist visa that you get from a thai consulate in your country before you come here.
