The discussion revolves around the restrictions and perceptions of the double entry tourist visa in Thailand, focusing on concerns about potential misuse by tourists. There are differing opinions on the enforcement of visa regulations, especially for tourists from specific countries, and suggestions to make visa options more accessible for long-term residents and workers in Thailand.

Make more visa options for the people living in Thailand and who people who work here. This will solve a lot of problem for everyone.

Now we have to wait and see because getting SETV, DETV, METV, etc, will be enforced differently. Maybe it's gonna get easier in Laos again (just like when Double Entry existed), maybe not. I don't think DMK will get easier tho, lol!

+ full, get a new one. Won't help flying in, but to get a tourist visa they don't have access to previous passport info, they only do at the Thai side (border and airport).
but the average Indian, even the average middle class Indian able to take holidays in Thailand doesn't have 400k INR sitting around in a bank account for six months.
I have no idea regarding a company setup, if you have a good idea and can fulfill the requirements and are happy with the % Thai ownership (unless BOI) and the requirement to employ Thai staff, etc, sure, go for it.
Ed visa should be no trouble if you are doing an MBA, that's only a problem for visa mill schools.
Indians get 15 day voa, an exemption but with visa fees waive off!!! Awesome for tourists, but is famous overpopulated country being illegal immigrant everywhere!!
