Good morning:) Have a question please. If I manage to get a tourist visa with a double entry (hope they are still being sold) does that mean I can extend 60+30, and before last 30 days are up, go to a neighbouring country for a few days, then return and continue utilising the rest of the 30 days please? Thanks for your help.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about the possibility of extending a double entry tourist visa and making a border run before the last 30 days expire. A commenter clarified that double entry tourist visas are no longer issued and advised that the current option is a Multiple Entry Tourist Visa, which allows for 60 days of stay per entry, extendable by 30 days, totaling nearly 270 days in Thailand.

No, these double entry Tourist visa are not being sold for many years.

There is now a Multiple Entry Tourist Visa, valid for 6 months and on each entry during these 6 months you get 60 days of stay and each can be extended with another 30 days at local Immigration. With good use this visa can give almost 270 days inside Thailand.
