Hi everybody,

I have a visa valid until 6th of may. Would it be ok if I have a flight on 7th at 2:30 am and queue up for the stamp before midnight? Or would they still consider it overstay because my flight leaves the next day?

And I also wanted to ask about tourist visa application from seoul korea, any thoughts?

You are always so helpful, many thanks!🙏 🥰🙏

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired whether having a flight scheduled for just after their visa expiration would lead to an overstay issue. Community comments indicated that as long as they queued for the stamp before midnight, they should not incur a fine. Several users also discussed the requirements for applying for a tourist visa from Seoul, emphasizing the importance of having proof of onward travel and funds.

meet the requirements listed on the website of the thai consulate in Seoul and you'll get the visa, don't meet them and you won't get the visa. They require onward travel AND proof of funds.

They're a no nonsense consulate.

that I do not know (BUT if I was guessing, I'd say it's a card that foreigners who live there get).

I think they really only want to see your visa to be in korea or your entry stamp.

I would think if you passed through immigration prior to 11.59 you'd not be in an overstay situation.

Normally at International airports you will get the stamp overstay but the fine for this 1 day is waved. Here you can read the requirements of the Thai Embassy in Seoul:
