Dear group members. I arrived to Thailand 28Jan , flight, Bangkok, Poland passport. Then had extension 30days on Immigration office. Now applying for another extension at Immigration Office and they ...give me only 7days visa... :( And same 1900bth... :( Is this normal and according to terms&conditions??

Answer summary

The user describes their experience with Thailand's immigration process after arriving on January 28, receiving a 30-day extension, and then only receiving a 7-day visa extension upon reapplication. Comments indicate that this is standard procedure as only one extension is typically allowed for short-term visas, pushing individuals towards a visa run or applying for a long-term visa to avoid such issues.

And according to your arrival date, you entered on 30 day exemption anyway. Was then granted an extra 30 days. Why complain?

If you need to stay longer, get the appropriate visa that allows you to, matching the real reason you are here.

. Their country their rules. If you want to stay long term, get a long term visa and you won't have these issues.

Yes. See above.

You can only get multiple extensions on long term visas .

Yes. You are only allowed one extension. Applying for another costs the same but is not approved so you get 7 days to leave the country.
