I'm traveling on the weekend and will stay in a hotel. Do I need to get a new TM30 from my landlord before I go to immigration for my 1 year O visa extension?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion centers around the necessity of obtaining a new TM30 form from your landlord when traveling and staying in a hotel prior to applying for a one-year O visa extension. Several comments suggest that the hotel is required to file a TM30 for your temporary stay, which could override the existing one from your landlord. However, there are differing opinions on whether this reapplication is required unless there is a change in your immigration status or accommodation.

If you’ve changed accommodation then yes.

Not true! I guess UdonThani immigration was wrong when they told me that!!! I don’t think so!

Refiling is not required unless you receive a new “permitted to stay until” stamp.

Yes because the hotels are required to file a tm 30 for you so you’re address will change and landlord needs to refile . I just went through that 2.5 weeks ago.

ask your Immigration. Normally, a TM30 from a hotel inside Thailand will overwrite an existing TM30
