Hey, my visa application in Cambodia was cancelled today(wrong name). I've been thinking of applying straight away from Vietnam? Is it a good idea or should I wait some time? Also what's the processing time there? Has anybody applied in Vietnam recently?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user asks about applying for a visa in Vietnam after a recent cancellation in Cambodia due to a name error. Responses from the community suggest that applying in Vietnam might be a faster option, as processing times are generally shorter, around 3-5 business days. However, there are cautionary notes about reapplying soon after a rejection, indicating that it's wise to wait at least a month and ensure all issues with the previous application are resolved.
Hanoi is the best post at the moment to apply if you have what they are looking for. I had my wife visa approved and mine in 3 business days one after the other. I would look deep into your application to see if there were other issues beside the name . Once you are rejected this rejection stays in the system and the next agent at the next post can see why you got rejected. If your application remains with the “SAME ISSUE” i will get rejected indefinetely . Some agencies here have contacts at some posts and they see this info before hand before their clients reapply. Its not like the have magic in their hands. Still if you look carefully and relate your situation with other stories in this blog you could easily figure it out alone. Hope this helps 🙏
We applied in Hanoi, it takes 2days to request further documents and extra for the other day and waited for 4days and got email as rejected. Total 8 business day without weekend.
Hey man, probably Vietnam would be better. Been reading in the forum how Cambodia is taking 20+ days. Usually the process in Vietnam is much faster, max maybe 2 weeks, but can be as fast as 3-5 business days.
