What are the chances of reapplying for a visa in Vietnam at a different embassy after a rejection?

Has anyone had experience reapplying for a visa in Vietnam, but in a different embassy?

I was rejected once in Hanoi and am now planning to reapply with a new set of documents in HCMC. For instance, if my first application as a freelance digital nomad was denied, do I have a better shot this time applying as the contract worker for own company? It’s a small one-person startup so I wasn’t confident in applying with this initially. 😅

Thanks in advance!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on reapplying for a visa in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) after having been rejected in Hanoi. They are considering changing their application from a freelance digital nomad to a contract worker for their own small startup. Comments indicate that running a startup may not be sufficient without established income, and there is a note about the need to physically travel to HCMC to apply.

Startups won’t work you need to be established at least 6 months and show income over that period with invoices to clients

Just FYI, to apply via HCMC, you would need to travel to the southern half of the country. You can’t apply via HCMC if you are in Hanoi.
