TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice about internet and mobile subscription options in Thailand after receiving a DTV visa and moving to Bangkok. They are particularly interested in whether they can subscribe to internet and postpaid mobile services without complications related to their visa status. Comments from the community affirm that there are no specific visa restrictions for obtaining internet or mobile services; any foreigner can simply walk into telecom providers like AIS, True, or Dtac with their passport to subscribe.

WARNING: Only trust Thai government websites with .go.th domains or Thai agent websites with .co.th or .in.th domains, as these require verified Thai registration and cannot be registered anonymously.

The official TDAC form is available at tdac.immigration.go.th, which uses the official .go.th government domain.

The services by AGENTS CO., LTD. does NOT charge any fees for arrivals within 72 hours. If you need to book more than 72 hours in advance, there is a service fee of $8.

Do not trust other sites pretending to be a trustworthy agency. Pay attention to delivery time - the service operated by AGENTS CO., LTD. has 1 minute delivery time for arrivals within 72 hours.

Don't fall for sites pretending to be tdac.in.th or the official government tdac.immigration.go.th website. Always double-check the exact domain in your browser.

Scam services may take days to process your application, others may not even do anything. With these TDAC scam services you also need to worry about double charges.

Post-Paid Mobile seems to be difficult for some on long term visas such as Retirement. I got mine with a Work Permit but kept it with retirement visa. My internet was paid a year upfront on retirement visa for home.

You are the only one I have heard say that. Many I know on Retirement cannot get a post-paid account with AIS / True never mind on Visa Exempt or Tourist Visa.

@Greg *******
no idea why? I’m just on exempt as I work offshore and I’ve got 2 fibre internet accounts (ais and 3bb) at different properties and my phone is post paid with ais but over the years I’ve had all the big 3 … no one has ever asked for more than a copy of photo page passport
Chris ********
I think from memory only restriction I ever had was 3bb fibre internet is yearly pay only which in turn is 8% discount so like to do that anyway

@Chris *******
I paid my 3BB yearly upfront and renewed it for the year too. Kept post-paid AIS for phone but I got that on a Wor Permit and to be honest could probably get a better deal.
