I guess this would go under the everything else part.

I was able to watch Amazon prime video in 2021 while here in the Kingdom, then it seemed that a year or so later, I couldn't access any titles of any movies, as if the service was no longer available in Thailand. Now, it seems I can once again watch videos here with prime. Does anyone have any insight into this inconsistency? Any personal experiences?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The thread discusses the fluctuating access to Amazon Prime Video in Thailand. Users share personal experiences regarding content availability, noting that using a VPN can unlock more content. While some have had success watching Prime without issues, others mention limitations compared to services in their home countries. Recommendations include using Android boxes and additional apps for broader content access. The local subscription price is reported to be 150 THB per month.

is it limited in what's available to watch compared to say, Australia, USA, or other 'Western' countries?

I have maybe come across a couple movies or series that was not available, but it's really most of the western stuff plus asian content.

I am currently subscribed to Amazon Prime Video in Australia and if all goes well, in about 18 months, I'll be living in Thailand and would like to continue using the Amazon Service (especially since they've just got a deal signed to cover ICC Cricket Matthew matches for 4 years.

An Android Box would only be needed if one doesn't have a Smart TV, right?

What do you mean by "adons"? Are you referring to whatever streaming services that you want?

If you use a VPN then no issues at all. If you don't then content is very limited.

I haven’t had any issues with Prime Video. I can’t get Freevee to work, though (Amazon’s other streaming service). I do know that not all of Prime is available though… only certain titles
